Here’s why living in Taiwan is a smart, fulfilling choice:
Taiwan is one of the safest countries in the world. Whether you’re walking home at midnight or commuting with your laptop in hand, peace of mind comes naturally here. It’s perfect for families, students, and solo travelers alike.
Taiwan’s National Health Insurance (NHI) is among the best in the world. High-quality medical care is affordable, accessible, and efficient — a major advantage for anyone considering long-term stay or retirement.
Taiwanese people are known for their warmth and hospitality. Whether you’re asking for directions or settling into a new city, locals will go out of their way to help. English is widely understood in major cities, easing the transition.
Taiwan is the world’s semiconductor powerhouse and a hotbed for innovation in AI, green energy, healthcare, and more. Professionals in tech, research, and manufacturing will find ample opportunities for growth.
From lush mountains to serene beaches, hot springs to national parks — Taiwan is a nature lover’s dream. Hike in Taroko Gorge on the weekend, or take a bike trip around the island — all within a day’s reach.
Located in East Asia, Taiwan is a great base for exploring countries like Japan, Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines. With visa-free or easy visa access to many destinations, travel becomes part of your lifestyle.
Taiwan encourages international talent to stay after graduation. Students can apply for internships, full-time jobs, or doctoral programs, especially in tech, healthcare, and academia, paving the way for global careers.
While many programs are taught in English, students can also learn Mandarin — one of the most spoken languages in the world. This gives them a competitive edge in international business and communication.
Taiwan’s universities offer high-quality education in English, especially in fields like engineering, medicine, biotechnology, business, and computer science — all at a fraction of the cost compared to the U.S., U.K., or Australia.
The Taiwanese government and universities offer generous scholarships covering tuition fees, living expenses, and even travel. This makes Taiwan an attractive and financially viable destination for Indian and international students.

Let’s get started.
Taiwanese people are some of the most friendly people in the world to foreigners and strangers. This has to do with Chinese cultural values of saving face, as well as the love of other cultures that Taiwan has. This is not to say that they are friendly to all foreigners, but to the typical westerner, they show interest because of you are from a rich country, you know English, and culturally there is not discrimination.
